Our grassroots team assembled itself in the intimidate aftermath of Hurricane Irma. A few days later, from our first hotspot location at Ronnie’s Pizza, Matt, Nick, Rob, and Jason got together and came up with a plan, wrote a proposal, and formed the concept of Love City Community Network.
Soon after that, we began receiving support from and operating as an extension of the Help.NGO Global DIRT team. This allowed us to focus on doing what we do best, which is design, build, deploy, and operate networks.
Our goal is to keep doing what we’ve been doing, but to do that successfully and in a sustainable way, we need to be able to directly manage our budget, raise funds, plan expenses, sign contracts, cover basic living costs for full time team members, purchase equipment, etc. So here we are!
Love City Community Network is a US based non-stock non-profit corporation, incorporated to be organized as and at all times operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific programs within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.
